Position Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented contract Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic team with essential administrative functions. This contract position offers flexibility while helping maintain our efficient operations and supporting various departments.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support to executives and department heads
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Handle correspondence, document preparation, and filing systems
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Manage vendor relationships and purchase orders
  • Handle customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate team members
  • Support HR functions including onboarding assistance

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of administrative or office support experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Professional demeanor and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technology or healthcare company
  • Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Trello, etc.)
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Previous contract or freelance administrative experience
  • Bilingual capabilities

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3-12 month contracts with possibility of extension
  • Hours: 15-30 hours per week (flexible based on needs)
  • Work Style: Remote with occasional in-person meetings if local
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rates
  • Schedule: Flexible hours with some core business hour overlap
  • Equipment: Can work with your own equipment or we can provide
